Cathay Cargo Terminal receives Bronze Award at HKAEE 2022

Cathay Cargo Terminal was delighted to receive the Bronze Award (Transport and Logistics sector) at the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) ceremony held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 15 December 2023. The HKAEE is one of the most prestigious environmental awards in Hong Kong, recognising organisations with outstanding environmental performance in their respective industries.
 

Over the years Cathay Cargo Terminal has been actively taking part in projects and initiatives on environmental protection and sustainability. One of the great achievements is creating circularity for operational plastic and recovering waste to resources. The Terminal also incorporated sustainability features from design to operation - the Pharma Handling Centre opened in November 2022 was built with the latest technology to minimise environmental footprint.
