Cathay Cargo Terminal operates one of the world's most advanced air cargo terminals, offering world-class cargo handling services for Cathay Cargo and other international airline customers operating at Hong Kong International Airport.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing operations procedures manuals
- Ensure the relevant functions of Warehouse Operating System (WOS) are appropriate and effective for staff and contractors to deliver services for customers
- Ensure all areas of operations are conformed with the regulatory requirements and customers are provided with consistent and quality services standards
- Lead, empower and develop the team to perform overall daily operations in accordance with the company’s services standard
- Liaise with operations partners including but not limited to Government parties, airline customers, ramp handling operators, cargo terminal operators, cargo agents and truckers on tackling services irregularities and to seek for improvement opportunity
- To be conversant with the company’s emergency and accident procedures, take the lead during the activation of the plan
Requirements:
- Holder of HKDSE/HKAL or Tertiary level educational qualification preferably in Logistics or Transportation
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in airlines, air cargo terminal, ground handling agent, logistic company, warehouse or freight forwarding company, of which minimum 3 years in a supervisory level or above
- Hands-on experience in the air-cargo terminal, airport and ramp operations is advantage
- Sound knowledge on import, export, transshipment cargo and mail handling operations and procedures
- Maturity with highly developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to work effectively with all levels of personnel in different functional units
- Details oriented, a self-motivated team player and confident leader
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Willing to perform shift duty including overnight shift
